Historical Downtown Series

Dusti and I have had the privilege of traveling all over this beautiful country in our 47 years together, and we've done most of it in our pickup. Traveling through small town America is both inspiring and magical to me. I can clearly see the way it was before asphalt and stop lights came along. Sometimes, it's just fun to put it back that way, even if just on canvas.
This series of prints includes scenes from Ritzville, WA, Bastrop, TX, Granbury, TX and the town of my roots, Meeteetse, WY.

Military Art

As a Vietnam veteran, I feel a strong connection to the men and women who step up and serve our country. I've had the good fortune to reconnect with many of my Army buddies and the bond we share today is stronger than when we served on foreign soil together. I am proud to say I designed our company patch and created the nose art on our Hueys. These posters hold so many emotions for me, some good, some sad, but all of them make me proud to have served.

I've always been a doodler and a sketcher. More than once, I got in trouble in school for doodling in text books and on my homework. I have scores of sketchbooks with early renderings of painting ideas sprinkled around phone messages and notes to myself. More recently, I've started creating small studies of my sketches, to be sure I want to do something bigger. Some I keep and some are available for purchase in our online store.
